He started his training in the Giron system in 2002 and with the help of the core instructors and students in the Bahala Na Multi-style club was able to graduate in April 2006. He also received his instructorship in October of 2009. He has also competed in various tournaments and demonstrations throughout California. His training influences come from the Bahala Na multi-style escrima club and they’re affiliates.” I never had the privilege to train with GM Leo Giron, but I know that without the core members of Bahala Na multi-style club, I would not be where I’m at today in my training. I also think that the core members of Bahala Na multi-style are doing a great honor to GM Leo by preserving and teaching his system of escrima the way he would have wanted it. By doing this they are keeping his legacy and art, strong and alive.”
